Westinghouse Electric Company in New Stanton, PA is seeking a Nuclear Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join a high-performing team dedicated to advancing clean energy solutions. You will help implement world-class instrumentation signal processing and control systems while collaborating with experienced engineers to refresh and upgrade existing designs.

This hybrid role requires a 2-day-per-week on-site schedule at the New Stanton location and offers opportunities for growth within a

Responsibilities

• Support engineering team for the creation of drawings and design/technical specifications for Nuclear Instrumentation Systems.
• Compile technical documents / specifications for procurement/manufacturing.
• Support resolution of technical issues including obsolescence.
• Support supplier and manufacturing operations with technical issue resolution.
• Support development of system and hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control systems for both new and existing plants.
• Support creation of hardware design documentation such as cabinet layout drawings, cable/wiring schematics, and PCB layout/schematics.
• Support Test document creation and test execution.
• Develop test procedures from System Design and Software Requirement documents.
• Support root cause investigation of defects and coordinate defect tracking efforts.
• Provide support to customers for installation and emergent technical issues.
• Apply work within a team and coordinate external support to successfully complete project scope.
• Effectively communicate (written and verbal) analyses basis, summary of results, proposed solutions, and implementation instructions to customers and team members.
• Opportunities to travel to customer and supplier sites (domestic and international).
