Job summary

Hitachi High-Tech America is seeking a Manager, HR Programs & Compliance with the ability to balance a variety of assignments simultaneously. This role is hands-on and strategic, providing project leadership and support for HR initiatives, directly supporting the Vice President with a focus on Compliance and Training and Development.

The candidate will have 7+ years of HR experience, solid knowledge of employment laws, and experience in an international corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of HR experience with compliance and training.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, business admin or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws.
• HR certifications a plus but not required.
• International HR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits and respond to compliance requests.
• Coordinate HR surveys and information requests.
• Oversee compliance reporting (Affirmative Action Plan, EEO-1, etc.).
• Develop and revise employee handbook and policies.
• Collaborate with Legal on US and international employment law updates.
• Lead Learning and Development initiatives and training programs.
• Drive HR projects and communicate programs across the company.
• Mentor the Senior HR & Employee Communications Representative.
