Job summary

Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. is seeking a Manager, HR Programs & Compliance to balance hands-on and strategic HR program leadership.

The role supports the Vice President, focusing on Compliance and Learning & Development, with cross-border HR responsibilities and a preference for experience in Hitachi group environments. The position involves leading audits, developing training initiatives, and guiding policy updates, while partnering with Legal for regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration or related field required.
• HR certifications a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and respond to audits to ensure compliance with HTA, HHT, Hitachi Limited, ISO, J-Sox, OFCCP, IRS, State and Federal requirements.
• Coordinate responses to surveys and information requests with HR and HTA.
• Oversee compliance reporting such as Affirmative Action Plan, VETS-4212, EEO-1.
• Lead and coordinate employee handbook revisions and policy development.
• Communicate with HTA Legal on US and international employment laws and policies.
