Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner or Human Resources Specialist to support payroll, onboarding, and HR data management across the Facilities Management organization.

This hybrid role reports to the HR leadership and collaborates with directors, managers, and the HR team to deliver accurate, timely services while enhancing the employee experience on both campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 year of HR or payroll experience.
• Two years of professional level HR and payroll experience for HR Business Partner.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems, such as PeopleSoft HCM and timekeeping.
• Ability to analyze laws, rules, and regulations affecting HR practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Support performance management and employee relations.
• Maintain HR data in HRIS, reconcile payroll, and timekeeping discrepancies.
• Provide guidance on FMLA, workers’ compensation, and leave programs.
• Assist with HR metrics, reporting, and special projects.
