Job summary

Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Human Resources Operations Manager to lead firm‑wide HR policies, manuals, and the performance evaluation program. The role includes managing HR intranet presence, compliance across states, and vendor relationships.

You will support background checks, visa processing, audits, and special HR projects, with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years of HR experience in a large, matrixed organization with at least ten years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, metrics, policy development, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and align stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive change agent with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word and HRIS/databases.

Responsibilities

• Develops, updates, and maintains HR policies, manuals, forms and the employee handbook; communicates changes.
• Designs and upgrades processes for recruiting, onboarding, evaluation, compensation and departures.
• Manages HR intranet and internet content to reflect the firm and department accurately.
• Conducts regular audits of processes, files, contractors and job descriptions; supports internal/external audits.
• Designs and revises job descriptions for current business professional positions.
• Ensures regulatory compliance across states; monitors legislation impacting HR programs.
• Monitors HR trends and implements approved policies to stay competitive.
• Manages the performance evaluation process and system administration (vi-Aderant).
