Job summary

Responsibilities include partnering with HR and operations to reduce turnover, respond to unemployment matters, and support contract administration with union representatives

Qualifications

• Minimum three years HR experience with focus on employee and labor relations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; specialization in HR or employee and labor relations preferred.
• SPHR/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SHRM-CP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers and employees on policy interpretation and labor contract provisions.
• Conduct investigations and respond to employee relations issues.
• Facilitate grievances and arbitration processes as needed.
• Provide supervisor training on HR topics and compliance.
• Partner with HR and business leaders on proactive employee relations programs.
• Support contract negotiations and union liaison activities.
