Job summary

First Mutual Holding Co. is seeking a Human Resources Intern for summer 2027 to support data entry and HR projects in a hybrid Ohio office.

The role includes assisting with recruiting, benefits, and employee relations, coordinating internship activities, and helping document new processes; strong organization and communication are essential, with a proficiency in MS Office and Paylocity preferred. Pursuing a Bachelor’s in HR or related field and the ability to handle confidential information

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar discipline is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
• Paylocity experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform various administrative and clerical duties to support the Human Resources team including but not limited to uploading paper documents into electronic files in various HR systems as well as other data entry work as needed.
• Assist with department projects including research and testing system functionality and documenting new processes and procedures.
• Assist other members of the Human Resources department with activities as necessary including recruiting, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
• Help coordinate and participate in the summer internship program across First Mutual Holding Co. and First Federal Lakewood including lunch and learns, job shadowing, intern outing(s), and volunteering.
• Other duties as assigned.
