Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP seeks an HR Generalist in Redmond, WA for a hybrid onsite role traveling to sites as needed. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 per year.

English and Spanish bilingualism is preferred but not required. In this position you will coordinate employee relations, onboarding, training, performance management, recruitment, policy implementation, compliance, and reporting, partnering with site managers and the training team to support a unionized workforce and ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field and 2–4 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Experience supporting a unionized workforce.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and SBM Driver Approval requirements.
• Experience in employee relations, training, onboarding, performance management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate training needs for employee and manager development.
• Coach managers on employee relations issues.
• Drive employee engagement through site management training and visits.
• Manage personnel transactions: hires, promotions, transfers, reviews, terminations.
• Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation.
• Support wage reviews and pay changes within pay ranges.
• Consult with managers on performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Investigate employee relations issues and hearings.
• Liaise with operations as HR consultant and communicate with sites.
• Some travel may be required.
