Job summary

Elevate Results Consulting is seeking an HR Generalist Consultant to serve as the primary HR resource for a portfolio of clients. You’ll own the full generalist scope across engagement areas, including employee relations, payroll, benefits, investigations, policy guidance, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance.

You’ll work closely with senior consultants to deliver high-impact HR services across industries, developing breadth, judgment, and strategic insight while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience with two or more years of generalist responsibilities
• Experience conducting routine workplace investigations with documentation and recommendations
• Experience managing at least one full open enrollment cycle
• Knowledge of federal employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, EEO/Title VII) and Minnesota requirements
• Strong client-facing communication skills as primary HR contact for leadership teams and employees
• Ability to manage multiple clients without sacrificing quality or responsiveness
• Hands-on experience with one or more HRIS or payroll platforms (e.g. ADP Workforce Now, Paychex Flex, UKG, iSolved, TriNet)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day HR resource for a portfolio of 5-7 clients across different industries
• Respond to employee inquiries on policies, benefits, leave, and other HR matters with accuracy and professionalism
• Manage payroll operations for clients across multiple platforms, including data collection, processing support, and discrepancy troubleshooting
• Administer employee benefits programs and lead open enrollment processes with brokers and carriers
• Ensure client compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and postings
• Collaborate with client leadership to develop and maintain workplace policies and employee handbooks
• Handle routine workplace investigations, document findings, and recommend actions
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for client employees, including offer letters and setup
