Job summary

Insource Services, Inc. is seeking an HR Consultant to act as the embedded HR resource for multiple clients in various industries in the Greater Boston area. You will provide HR support across client teams, helping to reduce risk and improve employment practices.

You will handle employee relations, onboarding, policies, benefits oversight, and compliance with federal and Massachusetts regulations, working with a service delivery team to support client management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; higher-level degree preferred.
• 5+ years of Human Resources experience with autonomy.
• Experience in Biotech, Startups, For-profit and equity/shares.
• Experience in small to mid-sized companies up to 150 employees.
• Ability to engage with clients professionally and serve as an HR ambassador.
• Understanding of Federal and Massachusetts employment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as embedded HR resource for clients and leadership across industries.
• Provide HR services and support, reducing client risk on employment practices.
• Assist with employee relations and performance issues.
• Guide diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and policy creation.
• Perform benefits oversight, handbook updates, and job description creation.
• Update policies to align with labor laws and best practices.
• Coordinate onboarding and exit meetings and advise on HR functions.
• Participate in HR assessments and onboarding of new clients.
