Job summary

Zywie, founded in 2014, is a remote cardiac monitoring company with its HR team in John’s Creek, GA. The Human Resources Generalist will support the full employee lifecycle across a multi-state, remote workforce, working closely with the HR Manager to mature HR systems and processes.

The role demands hands-on responsibility for policies, compliance, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and HRIS reporting in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and progressive HR experience
• 3+ years of generalist HR experience spanning at least three of: recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compensation, compliance, or performance management
• Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment and labor law
• Experience with an HRIS platform; ability to manage data accurately and produce clean reporting
• Demonstrated sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making in ambiguous or sensitive situations
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain policy clearly to employees at every level
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fully remote, distributed environment

Responsibilities

• Administer HR policies and procedures; provide guidance to employees and managers
• Monitor employment law developments across 20+ states and flag policy changes
• Maintain compliance with leave and wage laws and posting obligations
• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for assigned requisitions
• Coordinate background checks and pre-employment requirements
• Oversee remote onboarding and 30/60/90-day check-ins
• Support compensation, benefits, and payroll data accuracy across multi-state involvement
• Conduct workplace investigations and advise on outcomes
• Administer health and welfare benefits and open enrollment processes
• Provide performance management support and development coaching
• Contribute to HRIS reporting, analytics, and process improvements
• Support AI tools adoption in HR workflows
