Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated HR Coordinator to support recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations in a hybrid role based at our Franklin, TN Business Office. The position emphasizes accuracy, process improvement, and collaboration with hiring managers and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in HR or related field, 2+ years HR coordination experience, and proficiency with ATS, HRIS, and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in HR coordination, administration, shared services, corporate support, or a related environment preferred.
• Previous experience in a corporate office, shared services environment, or HR department strongly preferred.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and Google Workspace tools required.
• Workday experience strongly preferred, with ability to describe experience in HR environment.
• Experience with SharePoint or similar collaboration/document management systems strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow established procedures and detailed processes due to HR compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the HR department for day-to-day operations.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities, including background checks and onboarding progress.
• Track candidate and new hire status in ATS, HRIS, and internal tracking spreadsheets.
• Maintain onboarding and recruiting dashboards to monitor stages of hiring and onboarding.
• Follow up with candidates, hires, and managers to ensure timely completion of steps.
• Support onboarding coordination for clinic and corporate positions.
