WSDOT in Union Gap, WA seeks a Human Resource Consultant 2 to independently provide professional HR support across many disciplines, including classification and compensation, employee relations, wellness, and workforce development. You will advise managers, supervisors, and staff, helping align workforce needs with organizational goals.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrates knowledge of employment laws, rules and regulations across HR disciplines.
• Experience using HRIS, applicant tracking, benefits administration, and electronic content management.
• Ability to consult with supervisors and HR staff to support compliance and equitable practices.
• Experience researching and applying policies to workplace situations.

Aufgaben

• Advise managers and staff on HR matters, resources, policies, and agreements.
• Support investigations, intake of employee relations concerns, and disciplinary processes.
• Assist in preparing disciplinary notifications, meetings, and documentation.
• Develop and deliver HR training with colleagues to create learning experiences.
• Review position descriptions with an equity and accessibility lens and advise on changes.
