Job summary

Carnival Cruise Lines is seeking an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic partner to leaders and a trusted advisor across talent strategies for assigned teams in the Miami area.

The HRBP will coach leaders on performance, feedback, change management, and people development, while partnering with COEs to deliver comprehensive HR solutions and drive business goals. In-office role with some remote Fridays, located in South Florida.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Strategic Human Resources Business Partner experience.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong grasp of the work, goals, challenges, and long-term direction of the designated client group(s).
• Serve as an embedded partner in the business with a leadership seat and help shape talent strategy for designated client group(s).
• Coach and advise leaders on performance management, feedback, conflict, and change.
• Maintain deep knowledge of talent to support succession planning, talent reviews, development, and compensation planning.
• Provide counsel on reorganizations, spans and layers, role clarity, and change management.
• Act as primary escalation point for complex COE issues, partnering with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Compensation, Benefits, and HR Services.
• Collaborate with Manager, Employee Relations on complex employee relations and performance management cases.
