Sharp Decisions is seeking an experienced EDA/CAD Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA, for a long-term contract. The role focuses on supporting SiGe and CMOS R&D, requiring expertise in analog/mixed-signal design and extensive PDK/tool customization.

Candidates should be proficient with SKILL programming and familiar with Cadence toolchains. The engineer will customize tools for high-speed IC design (10-40 Gb/s) and assist with layout, DRC/LVS, tapeout, and license management.

Qualifications

• Expertise in high-speed analog and mixed-signal IC design concepts.

Responsabilités

• Install, customize, and support external vendor PDKs for SiGe and CMOS processes.
• Install, customize, and support Custom IC and RF CAD tools for high-speed (10-40 Gb/s) mixed-signal ICs.
• Execute and support layout efforts, including DRC/LVS and tapeout processes.
