Job summary

Calderdale Council’s Early Intervention HEYS team seeks a dedicated Key Worker to support families and babies in the first year of life. You will work alongside other agencies to deliver structured guidance that promotes healthy development and bonding.

You will help families define their needs and participate in shaping services, while upholding safeguarding obligations. The role is full-time with hybrid working options in Halifax; a DBS check is required prior to appointment.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with babies and young children and their families.
• Enthusiastic and assertive individual with good collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured support to families and babies in the first year of life.
• Work intensively and flexibly with parents to support child development.
• Help families recognise and meet intellectual, physical, health, emotional and social needs of children.
• Collaborate with other agencies and contribute to safeguarding and service shaping.
