Job summary

Akron Children’s Hospital is seeking an Operations Workforce Analyst to act as a business partner to Primary Care and School Health operations. You will deliver workforce planning, provider resource management, operational analytics, reporting, compensation and contract support, and data-driven decisions to improve efficiency, access, quality and patient outcomes.

The role gathers and analyzes data from multiple sources, develops dashboards, supports budgeting and forecasting, and collaborates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare/business analytics or related field.
• 3+ years of healthcare data analytics, operations, workforce planning, or contract coordination.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards and data visualizations for operational, provider, productivity, access, quality, and performance metrics.
• Gather, validate, reconcile and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, variances, opportunities and risks with recommendations.
• Provide data and analysis to support workforce planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and business planning activities.
• Maintain visibility to provider contract status, milestones, amendments, renewals, updates and actions, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, transitions, and workforce changes affecting scheduling, panel assignments, and reporting.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, planning, and provider resource planning with analyses and scenario modeling.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, and operational workflows.
• Manage scheduled and ad hoc reporting requests to deliver timely, leadership-ready information.
• Collaborate with leaders to assess performance, interpret data, and translate findings into practical actions.
• Provide data analysis and implementation tracking for cross-functional projects advancing primary care priorities.
• Other duties as required.
