Job summary

This role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, performance modeling, and strategic reporting, with a hybrid work arrangement on the Akron City campus and opportunity to influence patient care through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations Management, or related field.
• We’re looking for someone with strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to build relationships across departments.
• Candidate should have knowledge of acute care hospitals and integrated delivery systems and strong financial modeling and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing hospital and departmental budgets.
• Creating hospital and department financial forecasts, variance analyses and operational performance models.
• Analyzing operational, organizational, and staffing trends to support leadership decisions.
• Supporting departmental leadership with productivity reviews and hours/UOS performance management.
• Building tracking tools and dashboards to monitor financial and operational performance.
• Preparing and presenting tailored financial reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Supporting strategic business planning projects and healthcare initiatives.
• Providing project management oversight for special assignments and system-wide initiatives.
• Partnering across medical, operational, and financial departments to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
