Michigan Medicine seeks a supply chain professional to oversee the regional function across multispecialty anchor sites. You will manage requisitions, track orders, and analyze data to optimize vendor costs and distribution.

The role involves collaboration with facilities, vendors, and internal stakeholders, with a focus on meeting customer demand while maintaining accurate shipment records and stock levels.

Qualifications

• Experience manipulating data in Excel to generate reports and insights.
• Customer service expertise; interacting with internal/external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Proven time management and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of Associate roles to manage the overall supply chain function at regional multispecialty anchor site(s).
• Create and track purchase requisitions and orders; maintain reports and data.
• Evaluate alternate med/surg vendors for cost effectiveness with facilities team.
• Interface with internal/external stakeholders and vendors at multiple levels.
• Oversee World Relief program and manage medical gases and dock activities.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving of building services and orders; optimize distribution.
• Schedule and adjust shipment plans to meet customer demand and maintain inventory levels.
