Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; or two years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Effective communication with patients, visitors and staff.
• Computer literate – ability to learn various programs
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly under pressure when problems arise
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to think critically.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard work for inventory, receiving, equipment, linen, and mail.
• Use WaveMark and PeopleSoft to maintain data integrity.
• Resolve noncomplex issues involving technology, customers, staff, and supply chain leadership guidance.
• Perform daily activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist with special projects as required.
• Support MDI and daily huddles.
• Manage par-level orders and deliveries to user areas; identify stock shortages and notify management.
• Conduct routine audits of supplies, linen, and equipment for inventory accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies, expirations, shortages, or overstock; communicate findings to management.
• Answer incoming calls from users with supply needs.
