Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with two years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, accounts payable, finance, or related functions.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, and coordinate procurement transactions, requisitions, purchase orders, non-catalog requests, and related entries.
• Maintain order accuracy by researching discrepancies and coordinating with receiving departments and suppliers.
• Resolve supplier invoices, credit requests, pricing discrepancies, reimbursements, returns, and other procurement-related financial transactions.
• Monitor and manage procurement work queues and outstanding issues for timely resolution.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve procurement and payment-related issues.
• Research existing vendor options and applicable contracts across UW Medicine and partner organizations.
• Support informal solicitations and vendor quotations using approved competitive procedures.
• Collaborate with Value Analysis, Contracting, Strategic Sourcing, clinicians, customers, and vendors on requirements.
