Job summary

UW Medicine is seeking a Supply Chain Quality Coordinator to join the Department of Supply Chain Management. This 100% FTE, day shift, hybrid role supports the supply chain quality program by auditing processes, tracking improvements, and advising leaders on best practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration with departmental leaders to document outcomes, manage policy databases, and drive performance improvements across multiple workflows within UW Medicine’s health system.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience in Healthcare supply chain or general supply chain quality programs.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a process audit schedule with the supply chain leadership team.
Work with local departmental leaders to review a process flow, document the actual outcome, and provide a performance to expectation assessment.
Issue non-conformities based on process observation, monitor non-conformity action plans, and partner with leaders on follow-up audits.
Document audit progress and results to share with organizational leadership.
Manage the UW Medicine supply chain policy and procedure database and ensure documents are updated according to organization standards.
Provide upstream/downstream process recommendations based on experience and exposure to multiple workflows.
