Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services seeks a Community Development Specialist II to support the Primary Care Safety Net by monitoring grants, performing data analyses, and guiding program development across statewide sites. You will work with grant contracts, provider recruitment, and evaluation activities to strengthen services for vulnerable populations.

Proficient use of Access, Excel, Qualtrics, and SurveyMax is expected, along with strong knowledge of health care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sociology, psychology, political science, business or public administration or related field; four years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Community Health Grants and Medication Assistance Program grants and assist contractors in developing outcome measures.
• Conduct contract monitoring, financial monitoring, and data analysis to evaluate performance measures.
• Lead preparation of quarterly performance measurement surveys and produce data analyses using SurveyMax, Access, Excel, and Qualtrics.
• Provide technical assistance and training to contractors, documenting support per guidelines.
