Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) seeks an Employee Health & Benefits Account Manager for a hybrid role based in Maitland/Tampa/ Clearwater/Sarasota areas. You will service and retain middle to large market group benefit accounts, coordinate renewals, and support enrollments with Producers and Benefit Consultants.

Key duties include managing client communications, ensuring accuracy in plans and rates, handling plan builds, and advising on compliance deadlines.

Qualifications

• Florida 2-15 insurance license current and active.
• 2+ years of account management experience within an insurance agency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-service orientation.
• Detail oriented with excellent time management and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage service and retention of middle to large market group benefit accounts.
• Handle day-to-day client correspondence and questions; assist with renewals and enrollments.
• Coordinate with Producers and Benefits Consultants for new/renewal submissions; manage implementations.
• Maintain client information in the agency management system; ensure organized workflows.
• Lead renewal calls, audit work products for accuracy, and monitor timelines with carriers.
• Navigate carrier guidelines and legislative changes to support client relations.
• Project manage plan builds and data feeds for successful implementations.
• Advise clients on compliance deadlines (Form 5500, COBRA, ACA reporting).
• Keep abreast of new products and regulatory changes affecting clients.
