Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency in Florida is seeking an Account Manager on the Employee Health & Benefits team. This hybrid role supports middle to large market groups, manages day-to-day client questions, and coordinates implementations and enrollments with the marketing team.

You will maintain organized electronic files, guide renewal processes, and ensure accurate deliverables. The position requires a current Florida 2-15 license, 2+ years of account management experience, and strong communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Florida 2-15 insurance license.
• 2+ years of account management experience within an insurance agency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Detail oriented with strong time management and client relations skills, including excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage annual planning timeline and ensure client deliverables, including Benefit Guides, are prepared on a timely basis.
• Lead renewal calls and paperwork with clients; hold carriers accountable for accuracy and timelines.
• Independently produce accurate materials and audit work to minimize errors.
• Maintain client information on the agency management system.
• Leverage carrier partners to resolve client issues and support retention efforts.
• Assist plan builds and implementations for Employee Navigator or Plan Source.
• Advise on compliance deadlines related to Form 5500, COBRA, ACA reporting, and annual notices.
