Job summary

Asana is seeking a Business Process Manager to bridge Renewals and Customer Success with the Enterprise Technology organization in a cross-functional, high-visibility role. Based in San Francisco with an office-centric hybrid schedule, you will translate field insights into clear business requirements and drive process improvements across teams.

You’ll embed with Renewals and CS, manage workflows, and ensure alignment with engineering and IT.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business operations or revenue operations.
• Ability to translate ambiguous operational problems into structured requirements and see them through to execution.
• Experience working cross-functionally with technical teams (engineering, IT, or enterprise technology); familiarity with agile or product development workflows a plus.
• Exposure to renewals, customer success, or SaaS go-to-market motions preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; you can make a complex workflow legible to an engineer and a CSM.
• Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Serve as translation layer between field and technical teams to develop ground-level understanding of how work gets done.
• Surface pain points and bottlenecks through structured discovery and data analysis.
• Own the process improvement lifecycle by mapping workflows and identifying gaps.
• Track adoption and outcomes post-launch and close the feedback loop with stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional alignment via working sessions with Renewals, Customer Success, Revenue Strategy & Operations, and Enterprise Technology.
• Serve as the single point of contact for field teams to escalate tool friction or request workflow changes.
• Support the tools ecosystem by becoming a power user of Salesforce, QuadSci, and Trig.ai.
• Evaluate new tool requests against existing capabilities and build a business case for investments.
