Healthy Birth Day, Inc. seeks a Director of Advancement to lead strategic growth initiatives and fundraising development as part of the executive leadership team.

You will oversee collaborations across teams, manage grants and large proposals, cultivate long-term partnerships, and ensure budgets and program expansion align with organizational goals.

The role requires strong communication, fundraising expertise, and the ability to work in a hybrid Des Moines area environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred.
• Proven track record in business development.
• Maternal health, public health or hospital expertise is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies with clear objectives, KPIs, and financial goals.
• Drive new business by identifying potential clients and markets.
