Job summary

GE Vernova in Bellevue/Lynwood Datacenter area seeks an Infrastructure Architect to define and build secure, reliable computer systems for utility customers under limited supervision.

You will perform system integration of network hardware, OS, and software, assist with design implementation, testing, and documentation, and support on-site hardware installation. A Bachelor’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering and at least one year of hardware design or integration experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year hardware design or integration experience.
• Minimum 1 year of VMware, Windows, and Linux experience.
• 1 year of networking experience (TCP/IP, switches, routers, firewalls).
• 1 year of hands-on hardware installation skills.

Responsibilities

• System Integration: integrate network hardware, OS, and third-party software as per design criteria.
• Design & Implementation: collaborate with lead engineers to implement designs within schedules.
• Technical Support: conduct functional system testing and prepare hardware documentation.
• Operational Tasks: handle physical hardware installation and support shipping/warehouse operations.
• Professional Engagement: communicate across organizational levels and maintain continuous improvement.
• Availability: may require extended hours, on-call rotation, and travel to sites.
