Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; three years in scientific illustration, graphic design, or related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign) and ability to design, build, and maintain websites from concept to launch.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create digital scientific illustrations of plants, animals, and fungi for publications.
• Design graphics for museum and department communications and data-driven figures.
• Produce major graphical elements for Museums' Annual Impact Report and newsletter (layout, imagery, production in InDesign).
• Collaborate on artistic elements of social media posts with Museums leadership.
