Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in scientific illustration, graphic design, or web design.
• Experience developing visual elements of strategic communication plans and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to design, build and maintain websites from concept to launch.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Interest or experience in biology, natural history, museums, or scientific communication.

Responsibilities

• Digital scientific illustration of plants, animals, and fungi for publications.
• Design graphics for museum and department communications, including data-driven figures.
• Create major graphical elements for Museums' Annual Impact Report and newsletter.
• Collaborate on artistic elements of social media posts, collateral, and swag.
