Job summary

The graphic designer at Michigan Medicine's Office of Development partners with writers, editors, project managers, and gift officers to create and edit print assets that meet brand guidelines.

You will manage multiple projects, work with printers and vendors, help design Medicine at Michigan magazine, and ensure ADA accessibility. On-site 2 days per week with potential for hybrid work opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, communications, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of design experience, with some experience designing for print.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite products (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
• Excellent communication skills and strong organization.
• Candidate must have access to reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Design Office of Development print assets including proposals, impact reports, newsletters, brochures, event invitations, banners, and other fundraising materials.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with different stakeholders and deadlines.
• Align print design assets with brand standards and strategic communications goals.
• Collaborate with the communications team's project manager to ensure timely delivery and status updates.
• Acquire, organize, and manage photos and other assets.
• Ensure all assets meet accessibility guidelines (ADA).
• Assist with the design of Medicine at Michigan magazine.
• Support the communications team as needed.
