West Virginia University’s Regional Research Institute seeks a Program and Grants Coordinator to support pre/post-award processes, budgeting, and administration. The role is full-time and hybrid, with regular daytime hours and some in-person expectations.

The coordinator will help manage operations, prepare grant applications, monitor compliance, and produce monthly budget reports. Collaboration with the RRI team and leadership is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (BA or BS).
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Administrative or budgeting experience.
• Grant and other funding proposal preparation and post-award implementation.
• Budgeting and basic data analysis, including spreadsheets and database management.
• Communicating professionally both orally and in writing.

Responsabilités

• Helps manage the operations of the RRI.
• Coordinates the pre-award and/or post-award processes for research and other sponsored activities.
• Completes grant applications, including budget, salaries, sub-contracts, and additional information as needed.
• Manages and monitors compliance of grants with federal, state, local, and sponsoring agency regulations.
• Prepares and processes documents in relation to procurement, expenses, payroll, and budgets.
• Produces monthly budget reports for tracking grant expenses and distributes to leadership as necessary.
• Drafts content and collects data and materials for input into grant proposals, award reporting, and other administrative processes.
• Organizes meetings and events.
• Provides support for staff on travel and other expenses.
• Manages the marketing and promotion of the RRI through social media and other channels.
