Job summary

West Virginia University in Morgantown is seeking a Hybrid Senior Program Manager for the Institute for Community & Rural Health. You will lead a portfolio of programs, translate priorities into work plans, manage implementation, and ensure timely deliverables across state partnerships.

The role focuses on grant administration, staff supervision, evaluation coordination, and building sustainable programs with community and health partners throughout West Virginia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, public administration, business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing complex programs or projects; budgets, grants, and multi-organization partnerships.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of employment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple initiatives across community health, rural health workforce development, Food is Medicine, and community-engaged research.
• Establish processes for project tracking, documentation, partner coordination, and reporting.
• Develop and monitor budgets, track expenditures and funding commitments, and coordinate financial reporting.
• Supervise staff and coordinate work of faculty, students, consultants, and implementation partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations, state agencies, educational institutions, and community partners.
• Coordinate data collection, track outcomes, and ensure required research approvals.
• Prepare reports and presentations for Institute leadership, funders, and stakeholders.
• Support proposal development and sustainability planning
