The successful candidate will collaborate with Finance and program teams, manage multiple grants, and maintain thorough documentation. Hybrid work with standard business hours is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of grant fiscal administration experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience reviewing financial reports, budgets, and supporting documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must reside in Hawaii or have relocation plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fiscal reviews and compliance monitoring for state-funded programs.
• Analyze grant expenditures against approved budgets and funding guidelines.
• Identify discrepancies, unsupported costs, budget variances, and compliance concerns.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Escalate complex or unresolved compliance issues to management.
• Coordinate grant administration and fiscal monitoring activities.
• Communicate with funding recipients regarding reporting requirements and follow-up documentation.
• Provide technical guidance on fiscal reporting and grant compliance standards.
• Monitor reporting deadlines and closeout requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of fiscal reviews and compliance determinations.
• Collaborate with Finance and other internal departments on fiscal matters.
• Support grant closeout activities and stakeholder meetings.
