Job summary

The Salvation Army Northwest Division in Seattle seeks a Billing Specialist in the Finance department. This full-time, hybrid role coordinates grant billing, posts journal entries, reconciles deposits, and ensures funder compliance while supporting audits.

You will prepare monthly billings, maintain grant trend reports, and collaborate with multiple teams to streamline processes. A preferred degree in accounting/related field and 2 years grant accounting experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Preferred degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 2 years of experience in grant accounting preferred.
• Ability to produce accurate financial reports and grant billings.
• Strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Compile and review billing documentation for grants.
• Submit monthly grant billings to funders on schedule.
• Post grant-related journal entries and allocations.
• Maintain grant trend reports and reconcile deposits.
