Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our San Antonio team. You will design, operate, and optimize cloud environments across AWS/Azure/GCP, with GovCloud exposure and IaC automation. The role requires DoD clearance eligibility and strong DevSecOps integration.

You will implement secure configurations, manage multi-enclave platforms, and collaborate with security, data, and development teams to maintain compliant, reliable systems in a hybrid onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Requires BS with 8+ years or Master's with 6+ years, degree flexibility.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with DoD Top Secret SCI eligibility.
• Experience operating GovCloud and cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Minimum 5 years in DevOps engineering; 3 years GovCloud operations.
• Cloud security certifications or DoD 8140 foundations required; IaC experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement, operate, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Provide admin and deployment support across GovCloud.
• Configure and test native, COTS, FOSS, and custom capabilities in GovCloud/on-premises.
• Manage compute, storage, networking, and platform services across multi-enclave clouds.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation for provisioning and config mgmt.
• Support DevSecOps pipelines and automated deployments.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and security; drive improvements.
• Patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot systems; ensure RMF/STIG compliance.
