Job summary

Northern Plains Resource Council seeks a Good Neighbor Agreement Coordinator to provide key operational and administrative support for a landmark agreement involving mining-impacted communities. This in-person role offers flexible arrangements and supports Stillwater and Sweet Grass Counties.

The coordinator will supervise by the Director of Organizing, manage logistics, maintain records, and help recruit and develop grassroots leaders across the Stillwater and Sweet Grass regions.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management.
• Excellent written communication and ability to produce clear notes and reports.
• Comfortable using Zoom, shared drives, databases, and spreadsheets to manage information.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and logistical support for the Good Neighbor Agreement.
• Plan and manage logistics for GNA meetings (scheduling, materials, tech, food, virtual facilitation).
• Take detailed notes, track decisions, and produce meeting summaries and records.
• Maintain organized systems for documents, transcripts, and reports.
• Track action items, timelines, and deliverables across the Agreement.
• Manage financial tracking and monthly reporting for GNA expenses and reimbursements.
• Write and compile regular reports and communications for internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate logistics for site visits, inspections, and technical activities.
• Support two local affiliates with meeting planning, communications, event coordination, and local campaigns.
• Build relationships with local members and help recruit grassroots leaders.
