Job summary

i-80 Gold Corp. seeks a Community Relations Coordinator to deliver local programs and strengthen connections among employees, operations, and stakeholders in Humboldt and Lander counties.

Based at Lone Tree or Granite Creek with regional travel to Northern Nevada mine sites, the role supports outreach, events, stakeholder engagement, and community investment programs, reporting to the Director of Community Engagement & Development.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in admin, event coordination, or community outreach.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through.
• Experience with community partners (gov, schools, nonprofits, etc.).
• Willingness to travel and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and represent i-80 Gold at meetings and events.
• Coordinate community events, mine tours, school outreach, volunteer activities, donation drives, and outreach opportunities.
• Document community feedback and follow-up in the stakeholder engagement platform.
• Support Grants for Good, sponsorships, scholarships, and employee volunteer programs.
• Submit logos/advertisements, coordinate attendance, manage merchandise and outreach materials.
• Maintain community calendars and collect stories and results for communications.
• Support Operations teams in promoting employee participation in community programs.
• Attend site safety meetings to share Community Relations updates and build advocacy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote company values and responsible engagement.
