Job summary

MIMEDX is hiring a Payroll Manager to lead global payroll operations and sustain compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The role reports to the Director of Payroll & Commissions and requires strategic problem-solving and process improvements.

The position is hybrid, with two days per week in the Marietta, GA office. A strong background in regulatory payroll, tax withholdings, and year-end processing is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in multi-state payroll and/or accounting.
• 5+ years of managerial experience.
• Certified Payroll Professional is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all payroll processes for daily, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end timelines for United States, Canada, and Japan.
• System administrator for the workforce management system; ensures accuracy of timesheets, time clocks, attendance and PTO tracking.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and deductions based on federal/state regulations and pay frequency.
• Verify calculations of supplemental wages (commissions, bonuses, stock, incentives) and related deductions and reporting.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close; provide payroll data documentation to accounting/finance teams.
• Balance and distribute year-end forms (W-2s and T-4s).
