Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Network Architect to design, deploy, and support enterprise IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with business leaders, vendors, and IT teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and drive deployments across hardware, software, cloud, and networks.

The role requires 7–10+ years of multi-disciplinary experience, SME capabilities, and strong project management. It is a hybrid position with travel around 10% and in-person work in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 7-10+ years of progressive work experience with proficiency across multiple disciplines.
• Subject matter expert experience in a specific technology and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of systems, networks, ITIL, and API-driven automation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in one or more infrastructure technologies and create multi-disciplinary solutions.
• Lead technical discussions, oversee roadmaps, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Translate technical specs to business requirements and advise senior IT management.
• Act as escalation point for complex operations issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Lead proofs of concept and design infrastructure implementation processes.
