Job summary

Steelcase is hiring a Network Engineer Consultant to design, implement, operate, and continually improve a global enterprise network across 85 locations and four data centers. You will lead architecture, deployment, and optimization of routing, switching, wireless, WAN, and cloud connectivity to enable assurable business services.

Responsibilities include lifecycle planning, disaster recovery, and modernizing infrastructure.

Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years in enterprise network engineering and consulting.
Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and wireless networking technologies.
Experience with spine-and-leaf architecture and network resiliency.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and support global enterprise network infrastructure across routing, switching, wireless, WAN, Internet, and data centers.
Lead lifecycle management, modernization initiatives, and performance optimization across a global footprint.
Design and support SD-WAN solutions and global connectivity.
Ensure voice, collaboration, and unified communications services are reliable.
Monitor health and performance using centralized tools and perform root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with security teams to implement secure network architectures.
