Job summary

Talener in Boston seeks a Senior Network Architect to lead the strategic design and evolution of a global enterprise network environment. You will ensure stability, security, scalability, and performance across data, wireless, voice, video, and network infrastructure.

The role requires 10+ years in enterprise networking, strong Cisco routing/switching experience, and deep knowledge of SD-WAN, VPNs, and security architectures.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking.
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing LAN/WAN, data center and security environments.
• Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies and related devices.
• Strong routing and switching protocol knowledge (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, STP).
• Experience with SD-WAN, network virtualization and modern architectures.
• Experience with F5 or similar load balancing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic architecture and design of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Design, deploy, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless, SD-WAN, and related infrastructure.
• Develop network standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in office/data center/network facility designs.
• Create secure architectures with firewalls, VPNs, NAC, IDS/IPS, DMZs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic architecture and design of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Design, deploy, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, SD-WAN, load balancing, VoIP, video, and related infrastructure.
• Develop network architecture standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in thedesign of new offices, data centers, server rooms, and network facilities.
• Design and implement secure network architectures incorporating firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, NAC, IDS/IPS, DMZs, and related security technologies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network architecture and configuration documentation.
• Partner with infrastructure, security,andapplicationteams on enterprise technology initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership on major infrastructure projects from architecture and planning through implementation and testing.

• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IP address management, traffic management, and network services.
