Worldwide Logistics Inc. in Paramus, NJ is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator with a domestic background. You will quote transportation options, coordinate shipments, and work with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth, on-time deliveries.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in freight brokerage or logistics, hands-on LTL/TL/FTL, TMS experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. Hybrid work arrangement: three days in office.

Qualifications

2+ years freight brokerage/logistics experience.
Hands-on LTL and TL/FTL experience.
Experience with drayage and/or air freight.
TMS experience.
Quoting and carrier rate negotiation.
Customer-facing experience.
Track & trace.
Understanding of LTL classification/NMFC/density.
Strong Excel skills - including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic reporting.

Responsibilities

Customer Communication and Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships and enhance customer satisfaction. Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics-related inquiries from internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Quoting and Coordinating Shipments: Assess customers' transportation needs and provide quotes for various modes of transportation. Work with Carrier Sales to ensure timely dispatch of orders. Monitor logistics expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Shipment Tracking and Customer Updates: Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers regarding order status.
Market Understanding: Continuously learn and understand market dynamics, including pricing trends.
