Job summary

Fragomen, a leading global immigration law firm, is seeking a senior immigration team leader in the Palo Alto area. The role focuses on overseeing a consulting team, guiding complex client cases and ensuring high-quality service across the immigration lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has extensive business immigration experience, supervisory background, and strong analytical and client-service skills to navigate fast-paced, high-volume work and provide strategic guidance to clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree or Paralegal certification preferred.
• At least 8 years of business immigration experience (i.e., paralegal).
• Supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and client processes.
• A client service mindset, attention to detail and desire to achieve a high level of productivity.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high volume caseload while maintaining high level of productivity.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Has accountability for the performance and quality of an immigration consulting team.
• Considers multiple sources of information to identify the best course of action for clients and teams managed.
• Identifies solutions to novel situations.
• Adapts team plans and priorities to address resource and workflow challenges.
• Guides and influences others either internally or externally; conveys specialized immigration information to clients to give guidance.
