High Country Search Group is helping a growing organization place a GL Accountant in the Denver area. This newly created role offers exposure to multiple accounting functions within a collaborative team.

You will manage the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and review invoices with technology-driven tools while supporting customer orders and related transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a smaller, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activity, including preparing and posting journal entries.
• Complete account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review invoices and purchase orders for accuracy using technology-driven tools.
• Assist with customer orders, invoicing, and related accounting transactions.
• Research and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies.
• Review financial data to identify errors or incomplete information.
• Assist with rebate calculations, tracking, and accounting.
• Communicate with customers and vendors regarding account activity.
• Partner with other departments on accounting-related projects and needs.
