Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a General Superintendent in the United States to lead and supervise on-site work across multiple projects, ensuring safety, quality and adherence to schedules and budgets.

You will work with project managers and crews to plan labor, select foremen, and implement site utilization plans while applying LEAN practices to optimize performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in engineering, construction management, building construction or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, MSHA, DOT, NFPA 70E) and electrical code.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage labor projections, budgets and schedules.
• LEAN methodologies experience and continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and supervise on-site work activities and labor for all project sites.
• Collaborate with project managers to estimate and schedule workforce requirements and select foremen.
• Develop and implement site utilization plans; manage crew sizes and resources.
• Monitor progress, review schedules and ensure alignment with budgets and safety standards.
• Coordinate pre-construction planning, project start-ups and site meetings; resolve technical questions.
• Drive LEAN principles to improve efficiency and safety on site.
