Job summary

ArchKey Solutions seeks a General Superintendent to provide leadership, coordination, and labor management for on-site activity across electrical, technologies, and specialty systems projects. The role partners with project managers to meet labor requirements and ensure execution aligned with company policies and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive electrical construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage diverse field teams while maintaining project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, building construction or related field; electrical license preferred.
• 10+ years electrical construction experience on large, complex commercial projects; experience directly managing people preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Strong leadership, business acumen and ability to lead diverse teams.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications and drawings; estimate and schedule workforce requirements by project and jurisdiction.
• Lead foremen selection and site utilization planning; manage crew sizes.
• Coordinate labor scheduling and materials; ensure project schedules and look-aheads are met.
• Collaborate with PMs to review labor projections and control project costs.
• Oversee daily construction activities; enforce LEAN and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with engineers to resolve discrepancies; work with subcontractors within budgets.
