Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a General Superintendent to lead on-site teams and coordinate labor, materials, and equipment for large commercial electrical projects. The role focuses on delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, with close collaboration with project managers and field teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive electrical construction experience, a strong leadership record, and a deep understanding of safety standards and LEAN practices to optimize project delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in engineering, construction management, building construction or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of electrical construction experience with concentration in large, complex commercial construction projects.
• Experience and knowledge of construction and general industry safety standards, including OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications and drawings to estimate workforce requirements and schedule by project and local jurisdiction.
• Coordinate labor, equipment and materials to align with project schedules and budgets.
• Lead pre-construction planning sessions, startup meetings and site meetings.
• Monitor progress, control costs and ensure profitability across projects.
• Promote LEAN methodologies and maintain safe, compliant work sites.
