Zurich North America is seeking a General Liability Claims Specialist to join our GL team. You will interpret policies, analyze coverage, and resolve non-litigated claims of low to moderate exposure while partnering with customers, vendors, and brokers to deliver superior claims service.

The role supports a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration at North American Claims offices, including Rocky Hill, CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Claims Handling or Insurance as a base requirement.
• Zurich Claims Training Program offers additional exposure.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree adds pathway.
• High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience accepted as alternative.

Responsibilities

• Handle non-litigated GL claims of low to moderate exposure and complexity.
• Manage caseload within authority limits from start to finish with supervision.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, brokers to provide quality claims experience.
• Learn and apply established protocols and industry best practices.
