Job summary

Zurich North America seeks a General Liability Claims Specialist to join our GL team, handling non-litigated claims and developing expertise in policy interpretation and coverage analysis to resolve matters efficiently.

In this hybrid role, you will manage a balanced caseload, cooperate with customers, vendors and brokers, and follow established protocols to ensure a high-quality claims experience. Location flexibility with occasional in-office attendance supports collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years of claims experience.
• Alternative paths include Zurich Claims Training Program with 2+ years in claims.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 2+ years in claims handling.

Responsibilities

• Handle non-litigated GL claims of low to moderate exposure, e.g., premises liability, product liability.
• Manage a caseload from start to finish within authority limits with coaching.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, brokers and internal teams to deliver quality claims experience.
• Learn and apply established protocols and industry best practices for efficient claims handling.
